Our Story
Founded in 2024 by owner Rich Dougherty, Wired Sportfishing was built on a simple belief: every angler deserves a world-class experience in one of the planet's most productive fisheries. Operating from El Chiringuito beach in Tamarindo, we put you where the fish are — in the deep blue Pacific where marlin, sailfish, and dorado roam year-round.
Captain Gerard Delgado Salas and his crew bring deep local knowledge of these waters. You bring the excitement. We bring the skill, the tackle, and our 32.8-ft Pursuit Express sportfisher, built to run fast and fish hard.

Our vessel is a 32.8-foot Pursuit Express, rigged for serious offshore fishing. Twin 250hp Yamaha outboards get you to the deep water fast, while the fully-equipped cockpit, fighting chair, and rod holders are set up to handle anything the Pacific throws at you.
